The Young Professionals Network of the Sarasota Realtors and Manatees Association has recognized five rising stars in the local real estate industry.
From involvement in community service to leadership activities, these five officers represent a young group of go-getters who share the common bonds of professionalism, dedication and perseverance.
Earlier this year, real estate agents under the age of 40 were eligible for the program. After careful consideration of each application by the YPN committee members, these five agents were selected as the ‘2021 Class of Realtors Under 40 to Watch’.

Despite the unexpected challenges encountered over the past year and a half, these “Realtors to Watch” have proven their worth as professionals and show potential for continued success and dedication to the profession. Florida Realtors Association honored Ray collins, from Sarasota, at his recent convention in Orlando.
An article on Collins, “Producing Professional Videos,” won the Florida Realtor Magazine Editorial Excellence Award.
Collins, who spent 30 years as a television news anchor, including locally at Fox 13 News Tampa Bay and ABC 7, uses his video production background to highlight the properties he is selling. This marketing niche has helped him buy or sell 27 homes already this year – his first full year in real estate – worth nearly $ 20 million.
Collins was recently ranked in the top 10 Coldwell Banker agents from Bradenton to Naples.
Keller Williams on the Water, Sarasota, welcomed two new agents, Jesse bauer and Melissa Killion.
Jag Grewal, from Ian Black Real Estate, was recently awarded the SIOR Dual Designation in Industrial and Office Specialties from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
Grewal is one of 10 practicing commercial real estate brokers in Florida with the dual designation, and one of two in the Southwest Florida market.
Most of the professionals who obtain the SIOR designation hold either the office or the industrial designation.
Rosalie phillips joined Coldwell Banker’s Sarasota central office.
Phillips has been recognized as one of the top real estate producers for over 15 years, receiving awards for both his sales volume and exceptional customer service.
She specializes in properties in Palmer Ranch, Casey Key, Venice and beyond. His past experience teaching in the classroom provided a natural transition to residential selling.
Phillips is a graduate of the University of South Florida.
Louis wery, from the downtown Sarasota office of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, recently won Million Dollar GUILD recognition from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing for its experience, knowledge and expertise in million dollar residential properties and more.
Wery is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, an exclusive group of real estate professionals who have completed Institute training and have proven themselves in the high end market.
Specialized training and continued membership in the Institute provides Louis Wery with the knowledge and tools to better serve high net worth clients.
Wery has been working in real estate since 1979 and specializes in waterfront residences and condominiums.
He holds the following specialty designations: Certified International Property Specialist, Certified Housing Specialist, Certified Buyers Representative, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, and Transnational Reference Certification. He speaks five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
