Ron Clyde has been in real estate in northern South Carolina since obtaining his real estate license in 1979. Now owner and broker in charge of Clyde Realty LLC, in Simpsonville, specializing in commercial real estate, residential sales , investment properties and property management, Ron established the business in 1993 following his career with Prudential, C. Dan Joyner and ReMax Realty Professionals Inc. Over the years Ron has been involved in all aspects of residential brokerage , multifamily, office, commercial and industrial enterprise. . He has been active in numerous land developments, beginning with successfully negotiating the completion of the Hudder’s Creek Subdivision in Simpsonville in 1990.

Ron specializes in land, residential, investment and resort brokerage. In addition to seller brokerage, Ron specializes in buyer representation. Although he no longer actively appraises properties, Ron completed all of the courses required to obtain a residential appraisal license in 1993. He also has 25 years of experience as a construction project manager. . Ron attended the University of South Carolina at Columbia, majoring in computer science. Ron is committed to furthering his education in real estate and has taken many courses to that end.

As a Certified Emergency Medical Responder, Senior Member of the National Ski Patrol, and America’s Level II Certified Professional Alpine Ski Instructor, Ron is an active contributor to the first aid community. Through his NSP and PSIA businesses, Ron provides a wealth of referral services to investors and second home owners seeking vacation properties across North America.

As an investor in income-generating properties, Ron can help clients manage capital gains taxes and advise on high-quality acquisitions. One of its specialties has become tax-deferred exchanges using IRS Section 1031 rules to dispose of and replace real estate.
