URBANEAST Developments, Inc. (UEDI), a leading local real estate development company based in Davao City, recently won three prestigious national awards for bringing its best real estate investments to the market.

UEDI won the Lamudi.com.ph Outlook 2022 Awards for Best Premium Home of the Year in the Visayas and Mindanao category. The company also won PropertyGuru’s 2022 Philippine Property Awards for Best Housing Development -Metro Davao. Additionally, they were also named Best Housing Architectural Design Nationwide, again at the Philippines Property Awards.

Edward Bernardo, President of UEDI, said it was an honor for their company to receive special recognition from these prestigious awarding bodies.

“It is truly an honor as our company’s recently completed project has been cited among the best in the real estate industry in the Philippines,” said Bernardo.

UEDI being a top-rated local developer is also a huge recognition for Davao City as some of the major national real estate companies over the years have quickly established their presence in Davao.

It was a big challenge for local developers, he admitted. But he said it made them focus more on executing their projects.

Compared to others, he said Davao players like him “know the market” and what their customers need and prefer.

Bernardo said their company is engaged in the development of residential subdivisions, construction of homes, marketing and sale of real estate, end-buyer financing, land ownership, rental of residential properties and the development and leasing commercial properties for 15 years already.

“There’s a lot ahead for us, and we’re just really happy and honored to have been successful all this time,” he said.

With its recent award-winning The Gardens at South Ridge, UEDI’s recently completed exclusive upscale gated community in Catigan, Toril serves as a landmark achievement and sets the company apart as a burgeoning real estate developer based in Davao City. .

“This is an exclusive suburban green pocket subdivision with a modern European architectural theme applied throughout. If you are an investor there, you can rest assured that it will be an intimate community, just seven acres in size. The development is not too large and access to the main road to Catigan, Toril and village amenities is very close for all residents. It’s very useful. The development itself is essentially suburban if you really want peace and convenience at the same time: it’s not too close but not too far from the city center either. It is also elevated, which is one of the characteristics of Catigan,” explained Bernardo.

He further added that since its inception, his business has approached 2,000 individual properties built, sold and leased across seven major residential development projects and commercial properties in Davao City and the NCR. Its fully developed residential projects and real estate offerings cater to all market segments: from high-end gated communities to affordable social and middle-income housing developments. The Company and its projects have been accredited by several major commercial banks.

UEDI is also listed as a lead developer by the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-Ibig).

Bernardo said they will never stop doing budget housing so people can afford decent homes. He also said that owning land is the best investment one can make in one’s lifetime.

“We are focused on developing properties that will add value to the market and only grow over time,” he said.
